I took the time to do this, so be grateful I even did this.

It started when I was first writing it... when was it, 2 years ago? I just wanted to do something additional. I had to change a few, since I couldn't find them, and some of them didn't quite fit as I thought.

Author's Notes: I believe this is the 2nd longest chapter. I know it's surprisingly not the first, but it tends to happen with those with mucho dialogue. It might be a little rough. I swear, I will go back and change some of these places, which is why I just put HQ.  If it just sounds outlandish, yet plausible by a minute (my-noot) thread, that's good.

Author's Notes: I think I'm going to start using quotes. Spoilerish or not. So, as you can see, right off the bat, things are not going so good for the hostage. A bit cruel and unusual yes. I still can't believe that I even wrote it considering that, but I am proud that I even pulled it off. (and even later parts). Uh...there's some foreshadowing, but I am just saying. >:3

So, I did some unintentional research and discovery by playing some Tekken 5. I know, I should've done something else more constructive but I hadn't played the game in a while.

So, I warmed up using Bryan, owning people until I got owned by... Asuka in the 14th round. It's like they up the ante when they have the -dan rank. I'm still 1st kyu. So yeah, I got owned. Then, I switched to story mode and I look at the empty slots - ? rather - and thought, "Hmm, I need to fill these in." I had already picked Bryan in Story Mode, so I did a wildcard, and I picked King. Now, previous Tekkens he was rather cheap and too slow for my taste. But he's powerful so, it's a consoltation. Anyway, about a second after the 1st match started, I looked at the commands. King has double that what Bryan has.

Being the button masher I am, I just press random buttons, but I am amazed of what King can do. And he's quite fast. And has a lot of grappling/wrestling movies. Awesome for me, because the move sets gave me ideas. There was one particular one that was pretty awkward, moreso that I didn't know what I was doing. Vs. Nina, I did something and... well, somehow King was on top. Both were laying down. I think it was a botched combo but still. Another instance was against Julia, and King had her joints locked and I everytime I pressed a different button, he shifted. Well, I stopped after three buttons, and it looked like King was snacking at her side (he does wear a jaguar mask) before letting go. It was effective, since it pretty much took a decent chunk of health. Still doesn't explain how many times I lost to her.

But damn, I got to Marduk and he is HUGE. I mean, god dang. He's fairly quick too.

I discovered something though, and it only makes sense if you've played enough fighting games. It also relates to my writing.

Lang = Bryan + Sagat + a little of M.Bison + ANY SNK boss. In terms of fighting styles anyway. Notice that they're all power. There's some speed, but for the most part, it's mostly power. Someone's gonna have a tough time bringing him down... *grins*

*sigh*

Today is so depressing. It's so cloudy, foggy, and rainy. It's just one of those days that you just lie in bed for a good bit, since you really don't want to do anything, and you can't think straight. Pretty much after the quiz in Tech and Civ, I fell asleep. Not like that, but where some of it seeped in so, it's not like I completely did. Geography was cancelled due to a technical error, but we still have our exam on Thursday...watch as some BS questions appear. So, I'm just very tired right now...

Somehow, I am writing on Chaos again, and I finally finished 12 on Zero. I finally decided that I am gonna post the full chapters up on TZ instead of posting a snip and going back to edit it. Honestly, I feel like I'm giving away things ahead of time, and thus, losing impact on certain things. I still don't know what Epsilon is gonna be, or if I want to seperate it into the main story and 2 subplots.


But yeah. that's what I have been thinking about these past two weeks I guess. Keep in mind that is probably going to be the first third of the story. It already sounds interesting, huh? Yeah. The things I can come up with...
